Big road construction projects are visible everywhere, but smaller projects can be harder to see from a distance.

  • CONSTRUCTION NOTICE - Annual Asphalt Resurfacing - April 28 - mid June Please be advised that the City of Cambridge has contracted Brantco Construction (Cambridge, ON) to resurface asphalt road surfaces at the following locations: Holiday Inn Dr (Groh Ave to Franklin Blvd) Saltsman Dr & Barnes Rd Raglin Pl (Franklin Blvd to End) Pineview Crt (Pineview Ave to End) Rideau Gate (Grey Abbey Trail to End) Islandview Ave (Coronation Blvd to End) Construction will commence on or about April 28th 2025 and is expected to be completed by the middle of June (7 weeks). This will be weather dependent.

    The City of Cambridge is mourning the loss of former City Councillor John Edward (Ted) Fairless, who passed away on March 23, 2025. Ted served as both City Councillor and Regional Councillor from 1973-1980, 1983-1991 and 1995-2000.

  • City seeking vendors and parade participants for Canada Day 2025 The City is hosting Canada Day 2025 for the first time and is looking for vendors, sponsors, and parade participants to help bring the celebration to life. Local businesses, food trucks, community groups, and artisans are invited to apply for a vendor space at the event.
