Plan sets foundation for long-term planning and investment City Council has approved a new Asset Management Plan (AMP), which outlines how the City will manage and maintain its $4.8 billion in infrastructure for the next ten years (2025-2034) to ensure reliable and sustainable service for the community.

Cambridge Community Connections offers up to $2,500 in funding for community-based initiatives Residents and organizations looking to improve the health, lifestyle or wellbeing of their community can apply to a new micro-grant program beginning today, July 3. Cambridge Community Connections provides funds of up to $2,500 for local initiatives such as a block party, plant exchange, road hockey tournament, nature walk, group exercise or a movie night.

The City of Cambridge is proud to announce that Jessica Buczynski , a dedicated fire and life safety educator with the Cambridge Fire Department, has been recognized by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a 2025 NFPA Rising Star. The annual Rising Star recognition celebrates individuals who have successfully implemented NFPA programs and initiatives in their communities, including educational campaigns such as Fire Prevention Week , Learn Not to Burn®, and Steps to Safety .

The City of Cambridge is pleased to announce that Danielle Manton, City Clerk, was sworn in this month as the new President of the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks, and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) during a ceremony held in Windsor during the ‘Building Bridges, Sparking Change' annual conference. Danielle joined the City of Cambridge in 2019 to oversee The Office of the City Clerk, Council and Committee Services, Privacy and Access, Records and Archives, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility as well as Municipal By-law Compliance and Corporate Security.
