Accessibility Applications

The City makes every attempt to ensure everyone can fully participate in and enjoy the community. We are happy to work with you if you or your family members require support or accommodations to participate in community programs, events, or public forums‎.

Applications

City staff can help you complete required applications for support and accommodations, including:

• Program Participant Information Forms are used to gather relevant details to help organizers manage the event safely, effectively, and inclusively. 
• Leisure Buddy Application connects volunteers with individuals seeking social support to enjoy recreational activities in the community. This application provides an opportunity to join a rewarding program that fosters inclusion, friendship, and fun.
• The Personal Attendant for Leisure Card (PAL) card is available for people with a disability who require assistance to attend and participate in recreation programs. The PAL card is issued to the person with the disability and allows for them to be accompanied by a friend, relative, support worker etc. as their support person who participates at no additional cost. 
• The Program Ready Form helps staff to gauge the level of support that will meet your child’s needs so we can select the best program for you and your child.
