There are a number of ways to pay for a parking ticket in the city of Cambridge. Use any of the following payment methods within 15 days of the alleged parking infraction.
Pay online |
You can pay your ticket online beginning three business days after you received the ticket. Our online payment system accepts Visa or MasterCard. There is a $1 transaction fee for this service. To pay online, you must know your infraction number and the licence plate number of the vehicle involved. If you received a computer-generated ticket, the infraction number begins with the letter "B" or "C". If you received a handwritten ticket, the infraction number begins with the letter "S".

Pay by mail |
You can pay your parking ticket by mailing a cheque or money order, made payable to the City of Cambridge. Send your payment to: Please include your ticket number on the cheque. |
Pay in person |
Make a ticket payment in person at our Cashier Counter located at: City Hall, First Floor Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We accept cash, debit, cheque, money order, Visa or Mastercard. You need your ticket number to complete the transaction. |
Pay at our drop box |
Pay by cheque or money order and drop your payment in the night drop box on the Dickson Street side of the City Hall building located at 50 Dickson Street. Make your cheque or money order payable to the City of Cambridge. Please include your ticket number on the cheque. Do not make cash payments through the drop box. |

Challenging a ticket in court (Only applies for Tickets issued prior to March 27, 2024)
If you wish to challenge the evidence of the officer who issued your ticket, you can set up a trial. You or your agent must sign a Notice of Intention to Appear in Court (available at City Hall) to commence the trial procedures. All Provincial infraction matters in the Region of Waterloo are administered through the Kitchener court, located at:
