Through the Region of Waterloo, City of Cambridge residents receive the following waste collection services:

  • Weekly green bin collection
  • Weekly blue box collection
  • Bi-weekly garbage collection
  • Bi-weekly appliance and bulky item collection (check the Region of Waterloo's Waste Whiz for details)
  • Bi-weekly yard waste collection, from March to November
  • Christmas tree collection during the first two weeks of January

Waste collection services continue to operate on all statutory holidays except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
