Skateboard and Bike Parks

Parks are all open for the season!

Helmets and other safety equipment are strongly recommended. Please remember our skate parks are designed for skateboarding. There are elements of risk in using this skateboard park that can be reduced by acting responsibly and following the Skaters Code of Conduct.

Parks are not supervised. Use at your own risk. If you have a concern, see a problem or want to report an injury:

  1. All three parks are not supervised so use at your own risk.
  2. Weather: Keep off any of the Skate Parks when wet or lightning conditions as it may affect the safe use of the skate park.
  3. Safety First: Ride within your skill level.
  4. Wear the Gear: Helmets are strongly recommended as well as knee pads, proper athletic shoes and other protective gear.
  5. Take Turns: Allow other skaters, regardless of their ability, to take a turn.  Keep your board under control.
  6. No Park Changes: Intentional damage to or unauthorized park changes are prohibited.
  7. Pets and Animals: Please keep animals off the area where skaters are.
  8. Stash the Trash: Use the litter bins for garbage.
  9. Medical Emergency: Call 911.

Bismark Park

Located at: 375 Bismark Dr

This skate park has two sections with lots of seating for comfort. It features rails, stairs, ramps and half pipes. 

Park is open from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Churchill Skatepark

Churchill Park Skateboard Spot

Located in Churchill Park at:
200 Christopher Drive, Cambridge, ON N1R 4S4

The Skateboard Spot is a plaza-style skateboard park with long lines, lots of space and banks on either side.

This park is open during daylight hours weather permitting.

Greengate Skate Park

Located in Greengate Park at:
180 Maple Bush Drive, Cambridge, ON N1T 2C9

The Skateboard Dot has a long manual pad with a stacked ledge and a grind rail.

This park is open during daylight hours weather permitting.

Riverside Rails Skatepark

Riverside Rails

Located in Riverside Park at:
1850 Rogers Drive, Cambridge ON

The skate park features rails, stairs, ramps, a bowl and a smooth concrete surface.

Riverside Park is open from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Bike Park

The bike park is not supervised. All persons using this bike park do so at their own risk. The City of Cambridge is not responsible for and accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury or death claimed or suffered by any person related to the access and use of this area.

All riders must wear a helmet on all our bike trails.  We also strongly recommend elbow, knee and wrist guards.

You must sign a waiver before you can participate in any competition or organized event held by the City of Cambridge at the bike park.

Know the Code - Ride Safely. There are elements of risk in using this bike park that can be reduced by acting responsibly and following the Bikers Code.

  1. Hours of use are 9 a.m. - dusk, weather permitting.
  2. Please keep off the bike park when wet/when lightning conditions may affect the safe use of the bike park.
  3. Children under the age of 6 may only use the pump track and must be under the supervision of an adult. Ages 6-12 may use the entire bike park but must be under the supervision of an adult.
  4. Safety first, ride within your skill level.
  5. Helmets are mandatory. Knee pads, proper athletic shoes and other protective gear are strongly recommended.
  6. Allow other bikers, regardless of their ability, to take a turn. Keep your bike under control.
  7. Intentional damage to or unauthorized course changes are prohibited.
  8. Bikes Only. No climbing, playing, motorized vehicles, scooters or RC cars on the track.
  9. Animals are not permitted in the bike park.
  10. Use the litter bins for garbage.
  11. Medical Emergency - Call 911.

Children under the age of 6 may only use the asphalt pump track and beginner track but must be under the supervision of an adult.  Ages 6-12 may use the entire bike park but must be under the supervision of an adult.

Riverside Bike Park

Located inside Riverside Park, 1850 Rogers Drive

Ride within your limits. Walk features before riding. Practice on beginner features before moving to intermediate or advanced tracks.

Open from 9 a.m. to dusk

Weather conditions can affect whether the park is open. The park can be closed for 24 hours or more after rain to allow for the tracks to dry out.

The Riverside Bike Park is located inside Riverside Park, 1850 Rogers Drive and is open from 9 a.m. to dusk. For questions, email the Youth Coordinator at youth@cambridge.ca.

In accordance with The Smoke Free Ontario Act there is no smoking and/or vaping allowed within the Bike Park gates. In case of an emergency, call 911.
