The Cambridge Farmers' Market is always looking for local talent to perform in the Market Square. Only approved buskers can perform at the Market.

How to apply
Interested in becoming a market performer? Complete the Market Performer Application Form. Our staff will review your application and will contact you about scheduling.

Performers can apply for a maximum of two Saturdays per month. This allows us to showcase a variety of local talent each month. There is no limit to the number of Wednesdays you can apply for.

Rules and Regulations
Please note there is no busking indoors and all performance spaces are located outside in the Market Square.

The Market has two performers every Saturday from April to December. We schedule performers during the Market's peak hours, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

We provide you with a space to perform during your scheduled time. We ask that performers be flexible as performance spaces may change due to other initiatives or unforeseen circumstances.

Our Market staff confirm approved performance dates. If you need to cancel a scheduled performance, please contact us as soon as possible so we can find a replacement.

Musical performances
We welcome acoustic musical performances at the Market. We don't allow amplification. The music should be a background sound for passersby to enjoy, allowing our vendor's to communicate with their customers, and our residents to chat with each other.

  • Performance Area 1 (P1), South End of Parking Lot
  • Performance Area 2 (P2), Bench Area by Wesley United Church
