Adult Programs & Workshops

Our programs welcome beginner and advanced artists seeking new skills in our one-day workshops and seasonal classes. Come learn alongside our professional artist instructors with experience in a variety of artistic disciplines from studio art, dance, and theatre, to digital design, movement, and mindfulness.

Art Meet Night

Art Meet Night is BACK! Bring your own art materials and projects to socialize and create with other artists, experienced and new.

Tuesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm, March - June

$5 +HST per person or $23.41 +HST for a 10 visit pass


Ballroom Dancing

An opportunity for couples to dance to a variety of music in the Toyota Auditorium.

Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm

$10 +HST per couple (2 hrs) or $56.17 +HST for a 10 visit pass per couple


Life Drawing

Uninstructed sessions with a rotation of professional models. Easels provided. 

Wednesdays 7:00pm-9:00pm

$14.06 +HST


Sewing/Quilting

Sew, quilt and socialize with others in the Fabric Arts Studio. Bring your own machine or use one provided.

Thursdays 5:00pm-9:00pm (March-June), Wednesdays 5:00pm-9:00pm (July-August)

$3.52 +HST per person or $23.41 +HST for a 10-visit pass


Social Dancing

A casual dance environment for both individuals and couples to socialize and dance. For beginnings, experts, and everyone in between!

Sundays 1:00pm-3:00pm (March-June)

$5 +HST per person


Pottery

Uninstructed sessions for adults who have taken a pottery class and wish to continue with self-guided projects. Registration includes glazes and firings with clay available for purchase from the Centre. Schedule and registration information available at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts reception desk or CORAL.

We are offering one-of-a-kind workshops led by some of our exhibiting 2026 artists.

Whistle Workshop with Xuemei Lu

Join local ceramist Xuemei Lu in this one-of-a-kind workshop to make your own ceramic whistle. Participants will learn about the craft of whistle-making and design their own themed whistle through handbuilding, carving, and painting.

Lumen Printing: Lights, Leaves and Limes with Aidan Frenette 

Capture the beauty of flora, fauna, and food while experimenting with camera-less photography in this lumen printing workshop! Participants will create a variety of their very own lumen prints with traditional and non-traditional subject matter during this workshop. Join us for a fun, hands-on experience of a unique alternative photography practice.
