Image and Document Uploads
With your application, you will need to upload the following digital files:
- Three (3) images of your work
- Proof of Liability Insurance
Input your contact information, studio information, artist’s profile, website and social media sites you use to promote your work (Facebook, etc.). Each image file name must include the artist’s name (e.g.: bob-smith), title (i.e. horse-in-barn), media (i.e. pen-and-ink), and year (e.g. 2025) the piece was created. Include an underscore (_) between each as per the example below.
e.g.: bob-smith_horse-in-barn_pen-and-ink_2025.jpg
This will ensure that your work is properly attributed when received.
Filenames should only include standard characters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_). No other punctuation (e.g.: period, comma, semicolon, etc.) or other special characters (e.g.: #, $, @, ", etc.) should be used in file names. A period should only appear once, just before the three-letter file extension (e.g.: .jpg, .pdf, .tif, etc.).
Images must be clear, sharp, and of high resolution (300 pixels per inch/ppi) and be representative of the type of work you intend to show during the tour. Your images will be used in Tour promotions.
Attention iPhone and iPad users: Newer versions of the iPhone and iPad use a proprietary file format (.heic). You must convert your images to one of the accepted formats (jpg, pdf, eps). You can use an online service such as heictojpg or cloudconvert.
All artists are encouraged to apply regardless of medium or studio space.
The Studio Tour requires "all-hands-on-deck" participation. Voluntary effort is necessary to keep fees at a reasonable rate. Some volunteer duties include securing sponsors, promotion, tour kit pick up, etc. For additional information contact: Nancy Movrin at 519-740-4681 x4565 or movrinn@cambridge.ca.
