Pick up a racquet and join the fun at Racquet in the Square!

Transforming Civic Square into a vibrant hub of sport, recreation and community connection, Racquet in the Square will showcase a variety of racquet sports. Visitors of all ages can explore racquet sports, including squash, pickleball, badminton, ping pong, and tennis.

  • Guided Pickleball play with Canadian National Pickleball League team Grand River Rapids, as well as drop-in play

  • Inflatable tennis service cage activation from Tennis Ontario
  • Racquet Sports 101 - learn introductory demos
Plus! Music and mobile tv’s to provide game time action, two local food trucks, balloon installations, photo opportunities, and a character artist.
