Cambridge Tour de Grand

Sunday June 9, Duncan McIntosh Arena, Churchill Park

Enjoy the beauty of Cambridge and the Grand River with bicycle routes for all ages and abilities. Eleven different routes to choose from. Rider support, snacks and full lunch. Great outing for the entire family.

Bicycle helmets are mandatory for all riders. Free T-shirts for the first 2,000 registered riders, so register early. Cambridge Tour de Grand goes rain or shine.

Art Attic 

Thursday June 13 to Saturday June 15, Cambridge Centre for the Arts

On behalf of the Cambridge Arts Guild, the Cambridge Centre for the Arts opens their doors to sell "gently used" art and original artwork to the public.  This fundraiser helps support local art initiatives & several programs at Cambridge Centre for the Arts.  Browse through 3 floors of artwork, some are cash and carry and some you can bid on for the silent auction that end June 15 at 1pm. 

Cambridge Celebration of the Arts 

Friday June 14, Cambridge City Hall

The Cambridge Celebration of the Arts is an event that presents a variety of juried works in the visual, performance and literary genres by Cambridge and Cambridge connected artists.  Come out and enjoy some local food & drinks, be entertained with 4 stages and have the opportunity to view multiple exhibitions.

Concerts in the Park

The City of Cambridge in partnership with the Music Performance Fund provides free concerts Sunday nights at 7 pm in the beautiful parks of Cambridge. Local perfomers provide a variety of musical styles from concert bands to swing to jazz. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket, sit back and enjoy the concerts!

CGT Fields Grand Opening

Saturday June 22, Waterworks Park

(Please note there was a change in date for this event. It was orginally scheduled for Satruday June 1)

CGT's 150th Anniversary celebrations continue! The CGT Fields Grand Opening event will honour the company's commitment to the Cambridge community and unveil their contribution to the newly restored ball yard. Suitable for all ages, come out and enjoy a Cambridge Minor Baseball game, watch a special first pitch, and indulge in fun for the whole family.

Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day

Monday July 1st, Riverside Park/King Street

Family fun for all ages, beginning with a fishing derby for children, followed by the annual Canada Day parade, amusement rides, children's fun area, local bands, wrestling and more, then topped off with a firework display to music. Visit our website for more details on the festival.

 Hespeler Village Music Festival
Saturday July 6, Forbes Park 

This free festival is a hit with the entire family, always delivering a very entertaining day to the citizens of Cambridge.  The festival showcases both amateur and professional bands.  Along with arts and crafts vendors, food, refreshments and much more.  The children's program runs from 11am-3pm featuring clowns, games, bouncy castles and more.  Come enjoy a day with Family and Friends and experience the talent Cambridge has to offer! Making Waves Festival

Sunday July 7, Mill Race Park/Water Street Parking Lot 1

A celebration of paddling on the Grand River.  Come out to watch or participate in boatercross and other fun races, a slalom course, children’s activities, surfing and safety demonstrations and then paddle down the river with us!  Vendors market from 10-5 pm.  Water activities from 12-5 pm.  Sign up for water activities at www.surfcambridge.ca and follow us on Facebook!

Cambridge Rotary Ribfest

Join Mayor McGarry and Members of Cambridge City Council for our annual Community Oktoberfest Luncheon. Enjoy free sausages (while quantities last), an official keg tapping ceremony, Maypole raising and traditional Bavarian music. Come and meet Miss Oktoberfest, Onkel Hans and Tante Frieda!

 Cambridge Santa Claus Parade

Join us at the annual Cambridge Santa Claus Parade to kick off the Christmas season.

Sensitive Santa

This sensory friendly environment provides lower lighting and a quieter surrounding. Each family that attends will receive a complimentary photo with Santa to commemorate this magical holiday season. This special time to visit with Santa is reserved for children with social, emotional or behavioural needs. 

To keep this event sensory friendly and organized, we ask that each family register in advance. Space is limited. We encourage you to share this information with educators, social workers, and medical professionals who work with children living with special needs.

 Hespeler Santa Claus Parade

Saturday December 7, 12 p.m., Queen Street

The parade will run on Queen Street from Goebel to Guelph Avenue and then turn left onto Guelph Avenue and end at Sheffield Street. The event is a non-commercialized, fun-filled parade in the village of Hespeler for all kids and kids at heart. Generously supported and funded by the community. Following the parade children are welcome to come to the Scout House in Forbes Park to visit with Santa and receive a goodie bag.
