Mill Race Park

Mill Race Park is the site of various concerts within the stone amphitheatre, built within the ruins of the old C. Turnbull Textile Mill. It features an excavated "raceway" or canal which once powered the mill. Mill Race Park is the site of the official Canadian Heritage River Designation Plaque. Mill Race Park is a favourite location for wedding photographs, as well as wedding ceremonies. It is the only park within the city that is reserved for wedding purposes.
