Snow Event Declared starting Saturday, February 8 at 11:59 p.m.
The City of Cambridge has declared a Snow Event beginning Saturday, February 8 at 11:59 p.m. This means:
- An on-street parking ban is in effect. Vehicles should not be parked on any city street at any time for the duration of the snow event. This allows snowplows to clear more efficiently and safely. Vehicles left on the road may be ticketed and/or towed. The Snow Event is in effect for 24 hours from the start time.
- Sidewalks should be cleared within 36 hours following the end of snowfall. Snow should not be shoveled onto the road.
Snowfall anticipated this evening and overnight has prompted this Snow Event Declaration. City snowplows will be clearing roads. They do so based on provincial guidelines and a priority schedule with primary and secondary roads cleared first and residential roads cleared last.
