Region-wide fire ban lifted

Due to recent rainfall and cooler temperatures, the City of Cambridge will lift its temporary fire ban as of 4 p.m. today, Wednesday August 20, 2025.

A reminder that while the ban has been lifted, the City requires a burn permit for fires not used for cooking purposes within the city limits. To learn more about burn permits please click here.
