Significant Weather Event Declared starting Tuesday, December 30 at noon (12 p.m.)
The City of Cambridge has declared a Significant Weather Event (SWE) in the area because of potential or existing hazardous weather conditions. This declaration takes effect Tuesday, December 30 at noon (12 p.m.) and will continue until further notice. It means that:
- All roads/sidewalks maintained by the City may take longer than usual to restore to regular winter operating conditions.
- Drivers and pedestrians should use an appropriate level of caution when travelling during this event and avoid unnecessary travel.
