Residents are invited to help choose the future Hill 60 Park Playground

A new playground is coming to Hill 60 Park, and Cambridge residents are invited to help decide what it will look like. Following the feedback submitted from community members, two unique playground concepts have been designed for the park, created to spark imagination and active play for future generations of visitors. 

The two options include:

The Lumberyard

The Lumberyard brings a nature-inspired experience to the playground. Children can climb, balance, and embark on outdoor adventures.

The Factory

The Factory presents a vibrant world of creativity and discovery. Bright colours, imaginative structures, and interactive play elements invite children to explore, invent, and let their imaginations soar.

The Hill 60 Playground concept selected will create a modern, safe, and inclusive destination where children and families can gather, play, and make memories for years to come. Both concepts incorporate accessibility features, including a ramped entry to the playground area, accessible seating, and play structures located closer to the pathway to support easier access for all visitors.

Residents are encouraged to explore the playground concepts and cast their vote by Thursday, August 6 to help shape the future of Hill 60 Park. Vote for your favourite concept today.
