PUBLIC NOTICE - Official Plan Amendment for the Hespeler Road Corridor Secondary Plan May 5 Recessed Meeting
The City of Cambridge has initiated an Official Plan Amendment for the Hespeler Road Corridor Secondary Plan. In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, a Public Meeting will be held by Cambridge Council.
The original public meeting on May 5 was recessed and will reconvene on:
Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
Time: 7:30 p.m. (immediately after the City Council meeting)
Place: City Hall – Council Chambers (located on the Third floor of Historic City Hall, 46 Dickson Street) or the Virtual meeting can be viewed on the City's YouTube Channel.

Official Plan Amendment: Hespeler Road Corridor Secondary Plan
Description: The purpose and effect of the Hespeler Road Corridor Secondary Plan is to provide a planning framework to guide future development and redevelopment in the Hespeler Road Corridor area. The Plan area includes three Protected Major Transit Station Areas (PMTSA).
