Please slow down near road construction

As construction season is now in full swing, the City would like to remind you that our crews are out on the roads, repairing potholes, fixing watermains and utilities, and maintaining boulevards. Big road construction projects are visible everywhere, but smaller projects can be harder to see from a distance. When approaching a work site, either in your vehicle, on a bike or on foot, please remember to slow down, and follow posted signs or instructions from workers on site. Crews are focused on their work and may not hear you approach, especially if you’re driving an electric vehicle. Let’s make sure everyone gets where they are going safely! We appreciate your patience as we work on repairs and upgrades.
