Lions Can-Amera Park is making a splash this summer

Construction is complete, and the water is on at the Lions Can-Amera Park spray pad! Park visitors can now enjoy water features that mist, spray, and dump! This new space includes a spray pad, new pathways, and shaded areas designed to create a comfortable experience for everyone. A new hillside viewing area provides a great place to relax, enjoy a picnic, or simply take in the activities happening around the park.  

This exciting new addition was shaped by the Fiddlesticks neighborhood community. Residents, along with students from Clemens Mill Public School, were invited to vote for their favourite spray pad concept through EngageWR. The forest theme recieved the most votes and was selected. This voting process ensured that the final design reflected the preferences of the community that will use it. 

More seating will be added to the area in the coming weeks. In the meantime, visitors are encouraged to bring their beach chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy the new community gathering space. The spray pad operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Come out and visit the new space, cool off, and enjoy everything Lions Can-Amera Park has to offer!
