Fireworks set for August 1 at Riverside Park

The City of Cambridge is happy to share that the Canada Day fireworks display, postponed earlier this month because of the weather, will now take place on Saturday, August 1 at Riverside Park. 

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks, and enjoy a relaxed evening in the park! The fireworks will begin at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m., with a 15 - 20 minute display.  

Parking at Riverside Park is limited. Visitors are encouraged to walk, bike, take Grand River Transit or use the free shuttle running between the Cambridge Centre Mall and Riverside Park. The first shuttle will leave the Cambridge Centre at 7 p.m., and the final departure from Riverside Park will be at 11 p.m. The Cambridge Center pick up location is Parking Area 5, on the upper level, across from the Zehrs lot. Unfortunately, the shuttle buses are not accessible. Accessible parking is available in the parking lot behind the Mickler Field Grandstands for those with a valid permit. This lot can be accessed from the King Street entrance.
