City to celebrate National Accessibility Week with two events!

Cambridge, Ontario. (May 11, 2026) The City of Cambridge will celebrate National Accessibility Week (NAAW) May 31 – June 6 with a kick off event on Saturday, May 30 to recognize the contributions of Canadians working to advance accessibility, inclusion and belonging across communities. 

The NAAW Kick Off Event is presented in partnership with the Cambridge Accessibility Advisory Committee. This free event welcomes residents, community organizations, and service providers to come together to celebrate accessibility, inclusion, and belonging.

Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Cambridge City Hall, 50 Dickson Street

In addition, the City is also taking part in the National AccessAbility Week Tradeshow, hosted by Independent Living Waterloo Region. The tradeshow showcases accessibility-related services, resources, and innovations while engaging residents, service providers, and organizations from across the region.

This event will take place on Monday, June 1 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Tuesday, June 2 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Regional Museum in Kitchener. Registration is free and can be done through Eventbrite.
