Cambridge Studio Tour opens artist doors across the city this weekend
Residents and visitors are invited to discover local artists, explore creative spaces and experience Cambridge in a new way during the annual Cambridge Studio Tour, taking place September 19 and 20.
The free, self-guided event opens the doors of artist studios across the city, giving visitors an opportunity to meet local artists, learn about their work and explore a variety of creative practices. Whether you're a dedicated art enthusiast or simply looking for something different to do, the Studio Tour offers a unique way to spend a weekend in the community.
18 local artists will open their doors to the public for the 2026 Cambridge Studio Tour:
-
Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-
Sunday, September 20, from noon to 5 p.m.
Now a well-loved annual tradition, the Studio Tour showcases the talented artists who call Cambridge home while encouraging residents and visitors to explore neighbourhoods throughout the city. The event offers opportunities to discover one-of-a-kind artwork, learn more about the creative process and connect directly with the people behind the work.
The Cambridge Studio Tour plays an important role in strengthening the city's cultural community and attracting visitors from across the region. In addition to supporting local artists, the event encourages visitors to experience Cambridge's shops, restaurants and business districts while exploring the tour.
Visitors can plan their route in advance using the online studio map and artist listings available at cambridge.ca/StudioTour. The event is free to attend, and guests are welcome to visit as many participating studios as they wish throughout the weekend.
