Cambridge firefighters to hold annual Boot Drive for Muscular Dystrophy Canada

This Saturday, the Cambridge Professional Fire Fighters Association (CPFFA) will be collecting donations for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Firefighters will be at various stores around the city hoping to fill boots with cash donations to help support those affected by neuromuscular disorders.

On Saturday, September 19, Cambridge firefighters will be collecting donations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Cambridge Centre – 355 Hespeler Road

  • Walmart – 22 Pinebush Road

  • Canadian Tire – 65 Pinebush Road

  • Zehrs – 400 Conestoga Boulevard

Residents are encouraged to stop by, meet their local firefighters and, if they are able, make a donation to help make this year's boot drive the most successful yet.

The CPFFA has partnered with Muscular Dystrophy Canada for the past 53 years, raising an incredible $749,000 for the cause. Every donation helps support vital programs and services for individuals and families affected by neuromuscular disorders across Canada.
