2026 Community Grants Program now open

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Community Grants Program. This program provides funds to volunteer or not-for-profit organizations in Cambridge that aim to improve the life of residents. Funds can be used for training and development, start up funding, or special projects.

Last year 39 successful applicants received a combined total of $360,000. Some of the funded projects included increasing access to suicide prevention support, giving away free bike helmets to children, making sure students have access to food at school, programs to support transgender and two spirit youth, and funds to support operating costs at non-profit organizations.
