There are many natural areas and green spaces in the city of Cambridge where you can enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

Parks Master Plan

In 2023, we started work to develop a Parks Master Plan to help guide how parks are planned and operated in our city for the next 30 years. Public input was gathered throughout the year and is important to help us meet the needs of our growing community.

Parks

The City of Cambridge has more than 200 properties consisting of 280 hectares of developed parkland and over 650 hectares of natural areas.

A number of our parks have picnic areas and playing fields that you can rent. You can even rent Mill Race Park for your wedding photos or ceremony.
