General Election Information
Are you or someone you know passionate about our local business communities?
The Downtown Cambridge, Hespeler Village and Preston Towne Centre Business Improvement Area(s) are having a general election for the board of management for the term 2026-2030. Nominations open Friday August 14 at 8:30 a.m. and close on Friday September 4, at 4:30 p.m.
1. Confirm eligibility.
2. Complete a Business Improvement Nomination Form and return it to the City of Cambridge by one of the following methods:
- Online - email clerks@cambridge.ca
- In person - visit Service Cambridge, on the first floor of Cambridge City Hall (50 Dickson St.)
BIA Election Dates:
- Hespeler Village BIA – Wednesday September 9, 2026
- Downtown Cambridge BIA – Wednesday September 16, 2026
- Preston Towne Centre BIA – Wednesday September 23, 2026
