Help light up the night at the Cambridge Santa Claus Parade
City seeking floats, bands, and performers to take part in well-loved holiday tradition
Santa Claus is coming to town, and the City of Cambridge is looking for community groups, businesses and performers to help make his arrival a spectacular night to remember.
Applications are now open to take part in the Cambridge Santa Clause Parade, on Saturday, November 14 at 6 p.m.
Whether you want to build a colourful, illuminated float, gather your band to march along the route or participate as a local business or dance group, there are plenty of ways to take part and bring holiday sparkle to the streets of Cambridge.
New this year, the parade will make its way down King Street East in Preston, beginning at Chestnut Street and ending at Eagle Street. The new route will bring spectators both young and young-at-heart closer to the action, making it easier for everyone to see the floats, and hear the bands before the arrival of Santa himself.
On parade night there will be several ways to get to the route including with Grand River Transit, walking or parking at Allan Reuter Centre, Riverside Park, the Queenston Road parking lot, or the Karl Homuth Arena.
Be part of the holiday magic this November and apply to be in the parade! Applications are open until October 16. Visit cambridge.ca/santa to apply.
