City resumes regular services after air quality improves
The City has returned to normal service levels as air quality conditions have improved, allowing staff to safely resume regular outdoor operations.
The following services have resumed normal operations:
- Outdoor pools reopened at 9 a.m. today
- City-run events, camps, and programs will proceed as planned
- Non-essential outdoor City work and services have resumed
Cambridge Fire lifted its suspension on open-air burn permits earlier this morning and new permit applications are once again being accepted.
Wildfire-related conditions may continue to fluctuate. The City will continue to monitor conditions and share updates as needed. Residents can visit cambridge.ca/air for the latest information and public health guidance.
