City of Cambridge introduces the Voter Information Portal
Eligible voters can now check and update their information online
As the 2026 Municipal Election approaches, the City is making it easier for residents to update their voter information using the new Voter Information Portal.
The online portal provides a convenient way for residents to confirm their voter information and submit updates if needed. Residents who update their information through the portal will be asked to provide photo identification and an email address for verification purposes. All submissions will be reviewed by the City Clerk's Office before voter records are updated.
Residents should review their voter information if they:
-
Have moved to a new address
-
Have changed their name
-
Have recently received Canadian citizenship
Even if personal information has not changed recently, residents are encouraged to review their records to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date to help ensure an easy voting experience.
Keeping voter information current is an important step for residents who plan to vote online starting September 26 through to election day, Monday, October 26. Voter information must be accurate to access online voting.
For assistance with the portal or to inquire about updating voter information in person, contact the City Clerk's Office at elections@cambridge.ca or call 519-623-1340.
