Cambridge Bylaw to host educational community pop up in Bismark Park
The City of Cambridge is bringing park by-law education directly to the community through a pop-up engagement event at Bismark Park.
On July 15 and 16 from 5 to 9 p.m., Municipal By-law Compliance and Corporate Security staff will be available to speak with residents about regulations related to e-bikes, e-scooters, and responsible park use.
The event is part of the City's efforts to encourage awareness, safety, and respectful enjoyment of shared public spaces. Through conversation and education, residents can learn more about park by-laws, understand expectations for different types of mobility devices, and gain a better understanding of how park rules help create positive experiences for everyone.
The drop-in booth will offer opportunities to:
- Learn about park regulations and by-laws
- Ask questions about e-bike and e-scooter use
- Meet local By-law Officers and Security Guards
- Discuss community safety and shared park responsibilities
- Find out how residents can help keep parks welcoming and accessible
Families, youth, seniors, cyclists, and park visitors are all encouraged to stop by and say hello. The City looks forward to meeting residents and working together to keep Cambridge parks safe and welcoming for everyone.
