Councillor Mann was elected to his first term on Cambridge City Council in 2014, sitting on the Preston BIA, the Fire Hall Museum and Core Areas Revitalization Advisory Committees as we as Chair of the Budget Task Force.

Community and Civic Activities
Councillor Mann served on the Board of Governors of the FBI National Academy Associates, the Board of Directors for the international Centre for the Prevention of Crime and on the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Crime Prevention committee. He was member and Assistant Director of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police zone 5, representing Waterloo Regional Police Service and served on numerous other Boards in the Policing profession, past member of the Waterloo Wellington Alzheimer Society Board and an attendant at Hespeler Baptist Church.
