In Office: 2014-present

Born and raised in Cambridge, councillor Devine currently resides in Ward 2 with his wife of over 40 years, Janis. Mike and Janis raised two daughters Shannon and Kristine and now have three grandchildren, Ella, Garrison and Kristian.

Professionally, Mike was a tool and die maker and former president for the Canadian Auto Workers Local 1451. Councillor Devine also sat on the board of directors of the Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries. 

Councillor Devine worked with the Provincial Advisory Committee of the Metal Machining Trades on Apprenticeship and Exam Certification, the Federal Red Seal Committee on Skilled Trades Exam Certification, was an Executive member of the former Cambridge Industrial Committee, appointed to the Board of Referees for Employment Insurance, former Hespeler Minor Softball coach, Former Executive Board of the Cambridge and North Dumfries Social Planning Council and strong supporter of United Way and Food Bank

Mike prides himself on being accessible to his constituents and on always being a no-nonsense voice for them on council.
