Raised in England, Adam emigrated to Cambridge in 1988 and attended Galt Collegiate Institute and Conestoga College. Adam is a father of two and grandfather of one.

Councillor Cooper has worked professionally as a computer programmer and website developer for over 20 years. He is also a TRMA award nominated musician and is regularly active in the local music scene. Other interests include aviation, scuba diving, motorcycle rides on country roads, history, live music, trivia, and exploring beautiful trails.

Prior to being elected, Councillor Cooper was actively involved in his local neighborhood watch group and was a regular delegate on various issues at council meetings. He also sat on the committee for the very first Hot Springs Music Festival.

Adam believes that by working together with all levels of government, and by listening to the needs of the residents, we can all enjoy a better, more prosperous Cambridge.
