The Region of Waterloo supplies water to homes and businesses in the City of Cambridge. All water supplied by the Region is safe for drinking. Wastewater returns to Regional treatment facilities for processing through the sewer system.

Water distribution

As part of this two-tier municipal system, the City of Cambridge is responsible for its water distribution and wastewater infrastructure.  We are also responsible for maintenance and repair to the system of pipes and valves that keep water flowing.

The community-owned utility supplies water to more than 40,000 users. The City takes pride in providing clean quality water to our customers.
