Volunteering with the City of Cambridge
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the City of Cambridge. Volunteers are an important part of developing the Cambridge community. We support, facilitate and value the efforts of all our volunteers. There are many volunteer opportunities in the City of Cambridge, including one-time two-hour commitments and weekly commitments on a year-round basis.

Friendly Visiting Program Volunteer |
The Friendly Visiting program matches a volunteer with a socially isolated older adult, or an adult living with a physical disability, for regularly scheduled social and recreational visits. By volunteering for Friendly Visiting, you can bring joy to an older adult in just a few hours a week. Learn more about getting involved. |
Cambridge Celebrates Winterfest Volunteer |
Volunteer roles for Cambridge Celebrates Winterfest (formerly Christmas in Cambridge) will be reviewed beginning in September 2023. The minimum age to volunteer is 13 years of age. Most events take place outside so please dress warmly. Volunteer roles include;

50+ Recreation Centre Volunteer |
The Cambridge 50+ recreation centres are seeking volunteers to support their tuck shop morning and afternoon's at the William E. Paulter Centre, located at 1145 Concession Rd.
