Volunteering with the City of Cambridge
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the City of Cambridge. Volunteers are an important part of developing the Cambridge community. We support, facilitate and value the efforts of all our volunteers. There are many volunteer opportunities in the City of Cambridge, including one-time two-hour commitments and weekly commitments on a year-round basis.

Friendly Visiting Volunteer |
The Friendly Visiting Program is recruiting volunteers to have in-person and/or phone visits with our isolated clients. A weekly visit by phone or in person is all it takes to add joy to someone's day! For more information contact us at friendlyvisiting@cambridge.ca or call 519-623-1340 ext 4820. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. |
Cambridge Celebrates Winterfest Volunteer |
Volunteer roles for Cambridge Celebrates Winterfest (formerly Christmas in Cambridge) will be reviewed beginning in September 2023. The minimum age to volunteer is 13 years of age. Most events take place outside so please dress warmly. Volunteer roles include; site (assist with setup, take down, keep site clean), costumed characters/mascot (interact with children, pose for pictures), event helpers and information booth. Cambridge Celebration of the Arts |
The event showcases many different styles and genres of art in the Visual, Literary and Performing Arts categories. Are you looking to get involved in your community? Are you interested in supporting arts, culture and events? The Cambridge Celebration of the Arts event is happening Friday, June 16, 2023. Cambridge Scottish Festival |
The success of the Cambridge Scottish Festival depends on dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are needed for this year's event: Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 at Churchill Park. Multiple roles/duties are available. |
Hespeler Village Music Festival |
