Municipal Election Financial Statements
Under section 88(9.1) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, all candidates and registered third party advertisers for the 2023 Ward 1 By-Election must file a campaign financial statement.
Filing Deadline |
All candidates and registered third party advertisers must file their Financial Statement - Auditor's Report Candidate - Form 4 on or before January 2, 2024 by 2:00 p.m. (extended due to City Hall holiday closure). If a candidate has a deficit in their campaign and wishes to extend their campaign period, the candidate must file and submit a Notice of Extension of Campaign Period - Form 6 with the City Clerk on or before January 2, 2024 by 2:00 p.m. |
Grace Period for Filing |
If a candidate does not file their campaign financial statement by the deadline, they may file within 30 days after the deadline if they pay the municipality a $500 late filing fee. This grace period ends at 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2024. No nomination fees will be refunded to candidates who file during the 30 day grace period. |
About These Documents |
The filed campaign financial statements on this webpage were prepared manually by candidates. Municipal staff have not verified or amended the information contained in the statements. Making campaign financial statements available on our website allows members of the public to view scanned copies of filed statements in PDF format. Because campaign financial statements are prepared in hard copy by candidates and third party advertisers and cannot be modified by staff, the scanned documents attached below may not be fully accessible for use with assistive technology. If you are looking for the documents in another format, please email clerks@cambridge.ca |
