The City is committed to a culture of inclusiveness that allows citizens the opportunity to get involved in local government.

To ensure that community consultation is effective and meaningful, the City has developed a decorum policy for public meetings and events. The intent of the policy is to establish a common understanding of standards and behaviours expected when attending council meetings, public meetings and city events to ensure they are free from harassment, interruption, fear and intimidation.
