Queen's Square

Queen's Square Idea Exchange Location

Idea Exchange, Queen’s Square features the largest public library collection in the city as well as the main gallery and studio space for the Cambridge Art Galleries. After exploring the Gallery, relax with a book in the multiple study and reading areas, discover the large children’s department, or take in a special musical performance on the grand piano.

Preston Idea Exchange Location

Idea Exchange, Preston features a public library and a Cambridge Art Galleries’ public gallery. Enjoy the fireplace in the winter and visit the community garden in the spring and summer. The Seed Library and Tool Collection are unique to this location.

Idea Exchange, Hespeler has a public library featuring a comfortable reading area with a fireplace and open children’s area. The award-winning building is a fusion of old and new, consisting of a 100-year-old Carnegie library encased in a modern glass structure.

Clemens Mill Idea Exchange Location

Idea Exchange, Clemens Mill shares space with St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School. This location features a vibrant children’s area, maker and gaming equipment, and community greenspace. Sports and recreation equipment are available from the Active Living collection.

Idea Exchange, Old Post Office is an award-winning, all-digital public library, offering breathtaking views of the Grand River and free technology programs for all ages. Each floor in this restored heritage building offers a unique area of exploration, including the Creative Studios, Children’s Discovery Centre, Makerspace, and Riverview Reading Room.
