The Diversity Accessibility and Inclusion Action Plan, approved by City Council on July 10, 2018 is a comprehensive approach to a strategic vision for diversity and inclusion in our community. The action plan has been created in partnership with community members, groups, and organizations while being integrated with the City’s Accessibility Plan. A special thank you to those who helped inform the plan with their input and feedback throughout process.

Newcomer Outreach Program

We’re excited to announce that the Newcomer outreach program is live. Various programs for newcomer youth and older adults are available at the Kinbridge Community Association.

2021 Waterloo Region Immigrant Survey 

The Immigration Partnership Waterloo Region has launched the 2021 Immigrant Survey.  The Immigrant Survey is a bi-annual, multilingual survey which invites immigrants, refugees, claimants, international students, temporary workers and their families to share their experiences of accessing services and living in Waterloo Region in 11 languages.
