Cambridge West Community

Overview

Cambridge West Community is roughly a 90-ha area composed of four residential subdivisions: Hallman Subdivision, Cachet Subdivision, Newman Subdivision and Grand Ridge Estates Subdivision. Hallman, Cachet, and Huron Creek subdivisions are generally located west of Devil’s Creek, north of Blenheim Road, south of Westcliff Way and east of the City’s municipal boundary, while Grand Ridge Estates is bounded by Blenheim Road to the north and the Canadian Pacific Railway to the south. Hallman and Cachet are collectively referred to as Westwood Village and Huron Creek as Westwood Village Preserve.

Grading, municipal servicing and road construction works, including the realignment of Blenheim Road from Devil’s Creek to the City’s municipal boundary has been completed and the process of accepting this infrastructure for maintenance has started.

The new Bismark Community Park opened in 2024. The park provides numerous recreation opportunities for residents and includes a splash pad, skatepark, washrooms, playgrounds, a multi- sport court, trails and picnic areas.

Greengate Village Subdivision – Phase 6 

Overview

Phase 6 of this subdivision is the completion of the final 37 lots at north end of the Greengate Village Subdivision. This phase of development includes the extension of Nottinghill Drive to Main Street. Grading, municipal servicing, and road construction works have been completed.  The asphalt surface lift paving will be completed at a later date.

Moffat Creek Subdivision

Overview

A 49-hectare residential subdivision located in the northern of the South-East Galt Community near the intersection of Wesley Boulevard and Maple Bush Drive. Municipal servicing and road construction works are complete. Home building will continue through 2026.

Morrison Creek Estates Subdivision 

Overview

Morrison Creek Estates is a 31-hectare residential subdivision located north of Dundas Street S., east of Vanier Drive and South of Ripplewood Road. Construction of municipal service extensions on Dundas Street S. from Branchton Road to Vanier Drive and the Sanitary Pumping Station located within subdivision are completed. The asphalt surface lift paving will be completed at a later date.

Pinebush Subdivision 

Overview 

The Pinebush Subdivision is a 15-hectare residential subdivision located north of Pinebush Road, west of Struck Court and south of Highway 401. The two new municipal roads with the subdivision have been constructed. The second phase of construction includes condominium blocks and street-fronting townhouses. Grading, municipal servicing, and road construction works have been completed.  The asphalt surface lift paving will be completed at a later date.

Saginaw Subdivision – Stage 1 and Stage 2 

Overview

The Saginaw subdivision is a 26-hectare residential subdivision located on the former Saginaw Golf Course Lands in the general are of Essex Point Drive, Green Vista Drive, Burnett Avenue and Saginaw Parkway. 

Stage 1

Encompasses the 17-hectare paces of land located west of Essex Point Drive. Municipal servicing, and road construction works have been completed in this Stage. Home building continues.   

Stage 2

Encompasses the 9-hectare parcel of land located east of Essex Point Drive. Municipal servicing, and road construction works have been completed in this Stage. Freehold home construction was completed in 2024. Home construction within the central condominium blocks will commence once site plan approval and building permits are obtained on these blocks.

SouthPoint Subdivision

Overview

SouthPoint is a 29-hectare residential subdivision located south-east of the intersection of Wesley Boulevard and Fitzgerald Drive and north of the intersection of Dundas Street S. and Branchton Road. The subdivision was formerly referenced as the Bosdale Subdivision. The balance of the grading, municipal servicing, and road construction have been completed. Home construction will continue through 2025.

iPort Industrial Subdivision

Overview

A 109-hectare industrial subdivision located in north Cambridge between Allendale Road and Middle Block Road and between Riverbank Drive and Fountain Street. Grading, municipal servicing and road construction commenced in 2023.

Intermarket Road from Allendale Road to Middle Block Road is tentatively scheduled to be opened in November 2025.

Highland Ridge Subdivision

Overview

The City of Cambridge is in the stage of beginning the process of full assumption of the subdivision.

Beginning in September 2025 the subdivision developer contractor will begin the process of completing maintenance of the storm management pond in preparation for assumption.

 840 Main (Modal)

 Overview

The 840 Main Street Modal Subdivision is a 25-hectare subdivision north of Main Street and east of Franklin Boulevard. Phase 1 of municipal servicing commenced in 2025.
