The City of Cambridge's Groff Mill Creek Two-Zone Floodplain Study updates the existing floodplain model for Groff Mill Creek. The Study evaluates the potential for applying Two-Zone Floodplain Policies to create lands that are developable within the Hespeler Road Growth Area (specifically between Dunbar Road and Eagle Street). The Study will also lead to the following:

  1. An Official Plan Amendment, subject to approval by Cambridge Council
  2. An amendment to the Grand River Conservation Authority's (GRCA) regulated area mapping, subject to support of the GRCA Board
