The current service provider for affordable housing in the City of Cambridge is the Region of Waterloo. Cambridge City Council is working on a number of incentive-based programs to create more affordable housing.

An Information Report was presented to Council on October 8, 2024. A Statutory Public Meeting was held on November 12, 2024. A final version of the Affordable Housing CIP was presented to Council December 17, 2024.
