to Discuss proposed Secondary Plans for the Hespeler Road Corridor, and the Main Street and Dundas Street South Node

Date: Monday December 12, 2022

Time: 6:30 pm (Presentation at 6:45 p.m.)

Location:  Toyota Room, 60 Dickson Street

The purpose of this meeting is to invite area residents and interested parties to a presentation and discussion about the draft secondary plans for the Hespeler Road Corridor, and the Main Street and Dundas Street South Node.  The secondary plans are intended to provide a policy framework to help guide growth and development within the study areas.  The consultants will be making a short presentation at 6:45 p.m., followed by discussion and open house format.

Dillon Consulting was retained to complete a growth and intensification study including the preparation of secondary plans.  The secondary plans are proposed in areas within Cambridge ideal for growth because of access to existing and planned infrastructure such as transit and services.  Six secondary plan areas have been identified including the Hespeler Road Corridor, and the Main Street and Dundas Street South Node. For details of the Hespeler Road and Main Street and Dundas Street South area, please go to the Maps section.

Updated drafts of the two secondary plans will be available on this site no later than Monday, December 5, 2022.
