The City of Cambridge is committed to transparency, accountability and on-going communication with residents. To ensure this, we work with local media to provide important information on City programs, services and other initiatives.

Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All media inquiries should be directed to corpcomm@cambridge.ca and include the reporter’s contact information and deadline.

Please note: The City of Cambridge will only respond to inquiries made outside business hours if they are related to an immediate emergency or urgent operational matter. Other requests will be addressed during regular business hours.

middle block roadThe City will be proceeding with the construction of a Sanitary Truck Sewer in Middle Block Road under City Contract T24-101.
The sewer will run from the (under construction) Intermarket Road to Fountain Street and will require the full closure of the road from Riverbank Drive to Fountain Street. The road closure will begin the week of January 27, 2025, and is antipicated to end late July 2025. Residents will start to see a new format for public notices around Cambridge. In September of 2024 City Council approved a new template design and distribution system for public notices as part of its Public Notice Policy to promote clearer communication with residents.
