Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All media inquiries should be directed to corpcomm@cambridge.ca and include the reporter’s contact information and deadline.

The Significant Weather Event and Snow Event impacting the City of Cambridge has ended, as of Friday, February 14 at 12:00 a.m.
This does not mean our snow clearing operations have ended, only that the City feels the weather has subsided enough to allow crews to restore roads and sidewalks to regular winter operating conditions.

Based on weather conditions, the City of Cambridge is extending the current Significant Weather Event (SWE) and Snow Event until Thursday, February 13 at 11:59 p.m.
A parking ban remains in effect as plows continue to work to clear roads in priority order. Parked cars prevent plow operators from fully clearing the roads.
We ask for your patience as crews continue to work through their routes. Please wait 36 hours after the weather event is over to report a problem area.

The City of Cambridge has declared a Significant Weather Event and a Snow Event in the area because of anticipated winter weather conditions. This declaration will continue until further notice and means that:
An on-street parking ban is in effect. Vehicles should not be parked on any city street at any time for the duration of the Significant Weather Event. This allows snowplows to clear more efficiently and safely. Vehicles left on the road may be ticketed and/or towed.
