Facility & Program Changes

The Dickson Arena is temporarily closed due to a sewer issue. The arena is expected to reopen on Monday, January 12.
The public skate scheduled for Friday, January 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 will now be held at the Karl Homuth Arena (1407 Hamilton St.) As well, all programs scheduled at the Dickson Arena on Sunday, January 11 will now also be held at Karl Homuth Arena. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pools at John Dolson Centre and W.G. Johnson Centre are temporarily closed on Monday December 29, 2025 due to technical issues. Both facilities remain open for all dry-land progrmming. An additional News post will be created when the facility reopens to the public.

Please be advised the passenger lift at the Galt Arena Gardens will be decommissioned as of Friday, January 2, 2026 for construction of the new elevator. This means there will be no elevator access to the second level of the building until the new elevator has been installed in March 2026.
There is limited priority seating available on the main level, with some additional spots that will require individuals to be able to climb up to three steps.
