The City of Cambridge is committed to transparency, accountability and on-going communication with residents. To ensure this, we work with local media to provide important information on City programs, services and other initiatives.

Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All media inquiries should be directed to corpcomm@cambridge.ca and include the reporter’s contact information and deadline.

Please note: The City of Cambridge will only respond to inquiries made outside business hours if they are related to an immediate emergency or urgent operational matter. Other requests will be addressed during regular business hours.

Grand Ave Oct 26A possible leak has been located in the City’s water distribution system at Grand Avenue South, just south of St. Andrews Drive near the Cambridge Sculpture Garden.
Repairs are scheduled to take place on Monday, October 26 with re-paving planned for Tuesday, October 27.
Local customers are expected to be without water throughout the repair on October 26, and have been notified directly about this service interruption.

At a joint Council meeting this evening, Councils for the City of Cambridge and the Township of North Dumfries appointed a Shareholders Strategic Advisory Committee to evaluate the potential benefits of a possible merger between Energy +Inc. with Brantford Power Inc.
