Staff are available to respond to media inquiries during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

All media inquiries should be directed to and include the reporter’s contact information and deadline.

Please note: The City of Cambridge will only respond to inquiries made outside business hours if they are related to an immediate emergency or urgent operational matter. Other requests will be addressed during regular business hours.

pinebush rd closure june 28Pinebush Rd is planned to be closed between Tyler St and Fleming Dr on Monday, June 28, for water main repair. The repair is expected to be completed by the end of Monday, weather permitting.
A detour will be in place for the duration of this repair. Please plan your route accordingly. Local businesses affected by the water shutoff have been notified.

Curbside VotingEarlier this week, the City of Cambridge was presented with the E. A. Danby Award by the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) along with the municipalities of Ottawa, Windsor and Pelham. Honouring municipalities that have demonstrated outstanding achievement through innovation for the purpose of delivering improved programs and services, the award was given to recognize the delivery of the 2020 by-election and implementation of legislation.

Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, the pool will be closed until further notice.  Please view our swim schedules at Ed Newland and George Hancock pool for alternate swim times.
