A substance believed to be fentanyl was seized during a Waterloo Regional Police investigation earlier this month. This purple substance has a consistency like “play dough” and is currently undergoing testing.
In response to this, the Waterloo Region Integrated Drugs Strategy has issued an overdose alert.

The City of Cambridge will be holding a special council meeting on March 26 starting at 7 pm to present the findings of an internal review on supervised injection services.
